In 2020, amid the Covid-19 pandemic, Francesco and Tommaso, who had owned the Osteria and Wine Bar “Bar Osteria Il Bargello” since 2014, decided to take a leap of faith and invest in the world of wine by opening the Enoteca “Il Salotto del Vino,” also in Siena, right next to the Bar-Osteria, just a few meters from Piazza del Campo.
It was a choice that seemed to go against the grain, driven by the hope that everything would return to normal and by the belief that, to get through difficult times, passion for one’s work, ideas, and courage are essential.
